The purpose of this organization is to promote excellence in intellectual property law.  To accomplish its mission, SIPLA shall further the objectives of this Chapter; create a forum for the exchange and expression of law students’ viewpoints; stimulate the interest and participation of law students in the area of intellectual property law; conduct programs of interest and value to law students; assist in the development and improvement of professional relationships with local IP practitioners; and promote the involvement of law students in public service activities.
